After having completed his B.Sc in Biology at the Université de Sherbrooke, Richard joined Guy Sauvageau’s laboratory in the early 21st century to (successfully) undertake his graduate studies in molecular biology, studying mouse models of acute myeloid leukemias. As a postdoctoral scientist, his research interests have since shifted towards the pharmacogenomics characterization of human leukemias using bioinformatics approaches. His out-of-the-lab interests are very diverse, but often involve a bicycle or climbing gear.
