Aurélie obtained her M.Sc in Genomics and Proteomics at Lille 1 University in France.

She worked as a research assistant at INSERM (team EA3430) in Strasbourg, France where she had to develop a preclinical model to mimic the biology of pediatric brain tumors. Then she moved to the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (IBMC) in Strasbourg, France. Her project was to characterize translation initiation in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients.

In 2020, she joined Guy Sauvageau’s lab to work on the characterization of compounds targeting subtype of acute myeloid leukemia.
