Vinicius completed his bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and master’s degree in genetics and molecular biology from the Federal University of Pará, Brazil. He is currently a PhD student at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He joined Dr. Sauvageau’s lab in 2024 to work on base editing to reverse pathogenic variants causing inherited bone marrow failure.
