Tara joined the Sauvageau lab as a research assistant in 2006. Her area of expertise is molecular biology, and she is currently working with lentiviral vector construction and production, shRNA library cloning and functional genetic screens. Tara studied cell and molecular biology at Concordia University, where she worked in a bacterial genetics lab. She has also worked at the Montreal Children’s hospital research center, as well as at the University of Calgary.
